Part of the SHS Team were involved in organising and running the Exploring Giftedness Conference in Christchurch last weekend. It was an incredible event with several high profile speakers from the gifted community.
Gina Swart, Kate Gordan, Suzanne Clark and Matt Bateman were involved in organising and running the Exploring Giftedness Conference in Christchurch last weekend.
It was an incredible event with several high profile speakers from the gifted community, including Rosemary Cathcart. A local Educational Psychologist, Alice Gemrotova, delivered a very informative session around multi exceptional children and how to support them.
Speakers, educators and parents joined us from all over the North and South Islands. It was a special time where many people commented on how precious it was to be in an inclusive, safe space, where their children were supported and free to be themselves in the kids’ programme.
