Last week, we said farewell to Jane Hadley, who has been our Business Manager for seven years.

Jane has been a wonderful asset to the SHS team, and her attention to detail and stunning personality will be greatly missed. Jane has many exciting trips planned, and we wish her a very happy retirement.

In other news, we recently celebrated Dr Lucy Morten, who successfully completed her doctorate last Thursday with flying colours.

Lucy is our Mental Health Worker at SHS, and we are fortunate to have her expertise and calibre on our staff to support both ākonga/students and kaiako/teachers. Congratulations, Lucy.

Sophie and Cara have also been busy creating a post box for the Hillmorton Hospital classroom, where peers can nominate one another for demonstrating kind values. These beautiful boxes collect positive messages for everyone, and through this thoughtful initiative, Sophie and Cara have truly shown manaakitanga. We are very grateful for their efforts.
