It is my privilege to be the Tumuaki/Principal and to welcome you back to our kura/school for 2026.
At the beginning of each school year, all staff participate in Professional Development that brings us together as one team. This year, that time also marked the launch of our new brand.
Our brand tells the story of who we are, why we are here, and what we do. It reflects where we have come from, captures our aspirations for our students, and charts a clear path for our future.
There is much to be done to replace our old signage, collateral, and other materials across all of our sites. It is our intention to hold an event at each of our classroom locations, inviting stakeholders and interested members of the public to attend. This will provide an opportunity to share more about who we are and what we do, helping to raise awareness within our communities.
This week we have also introduced our newest team members to the kura and we warmly welcome them as valued members of our community. Our mihi whakatau is always a key part of cultural inclusion at our kura.
